GED2WWW should be fairly simple to use. Probably the easiest way of using GED2WWW is to create a directory/folder for GED2WWW and move the GED2WWW executable to that folder (after extracting it from the ZIP archive). Also extract your gedcom file to that same location. Then run GED2WWW. It will first warn you that it is about to create a directory to hold your HTML pages. Then it will ask you a few questions about your database and how you want it set up. After you have answered all the questions GED2WWW will start work on your database. It should not take very long for GED2WWW to create your database.
The Macintosh version of GED2WWW is distributed as an hqx archive. You should be able to unbinhex the file using Stuffit Expander (a common free program).
If you get some sort of error message or have a problem, please check out the FAQ/Support page before e-mailing me for support.
Jilly from Maui has created "My Techno Weenie Page for Genealogists", a great page for helping beginners get started with GED2WWW. It is excellent and I strongly recommend you check it out
